About
Butler Playgroup was founded in 2003 by a group of active mums in the new Brighton Estate. At first, we used the demountable behind the current Sales Office as its location, but when the old Boat Shed came vacant, we moved there temporarily as the play area was much larger. Although not ideal, this has allowed us to expand the number and size of toys we have, as well as allowing us to open the membership to a larger number of mums per session.We are now operating out of the new Community Centre in Kingsbridge Park.
Playgroup is a committee run non-profit organisation.
